Hello dear family and friends! I am still in the rehab center and doing very well! Getting stronger day by day!

Sara came to visit this afternoon and took me outside to the gardens on the property. It felt so great to be able to smell the fresh air and see the pretty flowers blooming!

If this incident has taught me anything, I have learned the value of my family and friends. I want to thank all of you for the many calls, visits, cards, and prayers. The power of prayer is amazing! Please continue with your prayers and good wishes.

Here is a poem that I wrote 10 years ago at the beginning of my first round of chemotherapy:

L'Chaim

Celebrate life
Every day
Living life to the fullest in every way
Ever grateful for life's mysteries and mindful of its sorrows
Bringing joy and peace to others
Reaching beyond the obvious to see THE ever present truth
Always remembering LOVE is the seed of life
Taking control of your destiny
Ever greatful for the precious gifts of true friends, family and spouse.
