Friday she had an appointment with Dr. Weiner, her pulmonologist. She is still having some asthma issues, but as far as any fluid in her lungs, she looks great! Her chest xray is totally clear! Tomorrow morning, she is going to see her oncologist, Dr Priego. Now that she is stronger, they are going to schedule tests and talk about further treatments that might have to happen.
John and Brenndan have been here since last Wednesday! It has been great. I am posting a picture of Brenndan and Mom (too bad Mom didn't look at the camera). By the way, I promise it is Brenndan and not John! Yes, he is John's spitting image at his age!
The video is a video that my cousin Joel made atop a mountain in Iceland. He went there with his group, Climb for Hope, to raise money for breast cancer research. Mom has not been able to see this video yet since there is not wireless internet in her rehab center, but as soon as she gets out she will get to see it!
I will be gone for work all week, but my Dad will be with Mom! As always, visitors are encouraged! She has been switched into room 183 but is still at Potomac Manor Care in Potomac, MD.

Dear Sara,
I was so happy to read how much better your Mom is. That is fantastic. She is a really strong person and is on her way. I am sure she really liked the dinner out that is fantastic. I will stay updated with the blog and will also try to call you.
Love, Holly
