I decided to follow some advice from a very good friend and I came home to my house to get some sleep. I told Momma Shal that I was really tired and needed to get sleep so that'd I could come back tomorrow. She nodded her head "yes" and squeezed my hand letting me know it was ok for me to leave. Dad was there when I left, but he was going to head back to Gramma Florence's apartment to try to get some sleep as well. She was doing well when I left...calm and resting. I'll be back there tomorrow and hopefully we'll have better news to report tomorrow!

sara, thanks so much for updating through via blog...although im sure its not the easiest on you...i so appreciate all the details. My heart has been so heavy for you and your mom since laura shared the news with me. Please please know im on my knees girl and Id love to come see both you and your mom or at least drop off some soup! ill get your numbers from laura and call when we are in virginia. in the meantime, i will stay updated through the blog.
